Terms of Use
Provided by the Samta platform operator (“we”, “Provider”). No company registration number is stated in this document. The Thai version at /terms is the primary text; this page is a convenience summary in English.
1. Acceptance
By using, signing in to, subscribing to, or paying for Samta, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service.
2. Entertainment / education — not professional advice
Samta provides astrology, timing (“yam”), charts, and related content for entertainment and education purposes only. It is not medical, legal, financial, investment, or other professional advice. Do not rely on it instead of qualified professionals. Outcomes may be incomplete or inaccurate.
3. Freemium and subscriptions
We may offer free (freemium) features such as basic data, a trial window, or daily quotas as shown in the app. Paid plans are typically about ฿19/day, ฿199/month, and ฿1,999/year (exact prices are those shown at checkout / in-app). Benefits last for the purchased period while payment status is valid. We may change plans or freemium limits via the app.
4. Payments (Stripe)
Payments are processed by Stripe. Available methods may include PromptPay, cards, and Apple Pay where supported by Stripe, your device, and our domain. We do not store full card numbers on our servers. Refunds and billing disputes follow Stripe’s flow and the checkout terms. A subscription takes effect when Stripe payment succeeds. If no charge is made, access follows what the app shows (for example a trial).
5. Accounts
You may sign in with Google or LINE (LIFF), or use guest mode if enabled. You are responsible for activity under your account. Do not misuse the service or impersonate others. Profile data you provide (e.g. birth details) is your responsibility for accuracy.
6. Privacy
Personal data is handled under the Consent & Personal Data Notice (PDPA / GDPR-aligned) and applicable Thai law (including the PDPA). Data is used to operate the service, authenticate users, process payments via Stripe, and improve the product (optional analytics/marketing only with your consent).
7. Feedback
Feedback submitted via the in-app feedback form may be used to improve the service.
8. Intellectual property
Samta branding, software, copy, and visuals belong to us or our licensors. You may not copy or commercially exploit them without permission, except as allowed by law.
9. Limitation of liability
The service is provided as is and as available. To the fullest extent permitted by Thai law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential damages, including decisions made based on astrology content. Aggregate liability (if any) is capped at amounts you paid us in the twelve (12) months before the claim, or zero if you used only free features.
10. Suspension and termination
We may suspend or terminate access for breach, abuse, security, or legal compliance. You may stop using the service at any time; cancel paid plans via the app / Stripe as instructed.
11. Contact
Contact the Samta platform operator via the feedback form or channels announced by the admin (including an admin email if configured in the environment).
Palm reading (paid members)
ดูลายมือ is entertainment/education using Thai palm vocabulary — not health or professional advice. It is available only to paying subscribers (no free quota). Camera use requires on-page consent; palm images are not retained, as described in the privacy policy.
Face reading / โหงวเฮ้ง (paid members)
โหงวเฮ้ง is entertainment/education using Thai physiognomy vocabulary — not health or professional advice. It is available only to paying subscribers (no free quota). Camera use requires on-page consent; face images are not retained. Sharing text with friends/family is fine; public posting needs written permission from the face owner every time.
Luo Pan / หล่อแก (paid members)
หล่อแก is entertainment/education using feng-shui compass vocabulary — not a professional reading. It is available only to paying subscribers (no free quota). Compass and coarse location stay on your device after on-page consent; coordinates are not stored on the server.
Crystal ball / ลูกแก้ว (free to play)
ลูกแก้ว is entertainment — not a prediction or advice. Coarse location stays on your device after on-page consent; coordinates are not stored on the server. No photos are kept.
12. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Thailand. Disputes are subject to Thai courts, except where consumer law requires otherwise. We may update these Terms; continued use after the “Last updated” date means you accept the revised Terms.
